we are off on Sunday, come back 6th June. Off to Southern Brittany first time with our own tent. Just hope the weather is ok
We're sailing on Sunday too, which crossing are you doing??? this year we decided to try Plymouth to Roscoff, saves me driving loads when we get to France as the Dover/Calais one really put me off last year

we are going portsmouth /Le havre with Ld Lines. We did the Plymouth/Roscoff crossing last August. It is ideal if travelling to that end of Brittany. Only 20 mins to Les Mouettes
------------- Thistledown Easter
Nantcol June
Domaine du Verdon Castellane and Etoile d'Argens Frejus Aug
We are in France now and will be at Camping International Castellane until 4th June (30 degrees again today but cooling down as of tomorrow).
Then its off to somewhere else, we have another 5.5 weeks to fill - hoping to stop by at la Chant to shoot the breeze with Ffloydfan either this trip or when we come back for 3 months at the end of August.
Keeping an occaisional eye on you all though, lol.
Sounds like Stu's going to be busy!!! Several of you mention going there - hope you all have a good time. We're just debating whether to have this weekend away in Abersoch, again, or to stay at home at get some jobs done - what do you think?
Depends on whether they are inside or outside jobs because I have just seen the weather forecast and for Sunday and Monday the words 'truly awful' spring to mind. Don't think we'll bother putting up the awning cos we'll all be huddling round the heater in the van!

We are also off down to Stu and Syb's Le Chant, leave on the 3rd back on the 16th. Trying Brittany Ferries this time, from Portsmouth to St Malo overnight with a cabin. Hopefully nice and refreshed in the morning and a shorter drive with the caravan to Mouliherne, with a quick look round St Malo before setting off.
Did this last year going through the tunnel, but it is a long drive once you get to the other side with the the van on the back.
we get into france on the 3rd, going down along belgium border and then into luxembourg. cant wait
where abouts in croatia were you and going to. we will get there at around end of july/early august and will stay around that north west Pula area. it will be a nice rest week.
We were not camping in Croatia but in an apartment in Rovinj in Istria. Do not miss it - it is delightful, as is Croatia. There are campsites a few miles north or south of Rovinj but they are huge. Pula is good for the history but is a big working city and Porec is worth a day trip. We had not got a car so were restricted to the local buses but they were good also. You will enjoy it.

yer the beaches look great. im hoping the huge campsites will never get full so we will find one to stay in. do you think booking is required in august in croatia.
Have not got a clue about August -Sorry . The beaches are all stoney and they are sore on the old feet and you will need jelly shoes or similar., The Croatian people all seem to have enough English to get by and are very helpful
