Hi ho all, just looking to see if anybody has stayed at the above site and has any info on it. We are off there next week with our two boys (aged 4 and 3) who are 'energetic' to say the least ! We are booked with Eurocamp to stay in one of their tents.

We have been in the Vendee for the last couple of years at Les Ecureiuls at St Hilaire de Riez (which we thoroughly enjoyed), but decided on a change of scene and figured that Brittany would be a good choice.

Any information will be gratefully accepted !

Can't give you any info on site but we went to Trinite Sur Mer last August and had a lovely time. We stayed at Camping Kervilor which was great. Trinite is lovely nice harbour, just one main street a couple of shops but mainly restaurants, there were a couple of little fairground rides on the harbour side for the kids that's about it really. We went into Carnac a lot, much more to do in Carnac and a lot more geared at the tourist with plenty of shops and some lovely beaches, the ones in centre of Carnac were quite crowded but we used to drive out to the other side and go to the beach where the windsurfers were and it was lovely and a lot quieter. We went to Quiberon and that was well worth a drive up the penisula and a look at the cote sauvage.I'm sure you will have a great time, if you need to know anything else just ask sorry I can't help with the site.

We are taking our van to Spain this year.

we stayed at Camping de la Plage owned by the same family as De La Baie and two mins walk away. The site (I had a look round) is lovely, spotless and safe for the kids. The pitches are not the biggest but all nice still. Lovley pool with slide, nice playground next to it and the best bit the beach is across a quiet road with a lovely bar/ bistro where you can sit and watch the sea for hours. We loved the area, recommend you go on the little train that stops at the campsite Sunday evenings, takes about 50 mins and you see the standing stones, Carnac and La Trinite. Our kids loved it. There is a great Super U in Carnac Plage 5 mins in car and a big Lclerc in Vannes (20 mins). For a meal out we recommend a place on the outskirts of Carnac Plage opposite a great beach. You cant miss it its the only one there. Think the place is Du Men or similar. It is on the right (sea to left) as you drive to carnac. We had very mixed weather, if you get good weather I think the place is perfect. Have a great time.

Stayed at De La Baie about 5 yrs ago but in a static just out of season. It was lovely, as is the area. We had a fantastic start to our holiday arriving in time to have lunch at the bar across from the site, overlooking the sea and feeling like we were in the Med. The weather turned after that but we still had a fab holiday, and hope to go back one day.
