Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone had got travel insurance for France, and found any company better than any other when they are pregnant. I can't remember what we did last time, and we weren't camping so I don't know if there are any companies better than others for camping!

Also if anyone has any ideas about camping when pregnant please let me know. We've got a Coleman airbed so rolling off shouldn't be too much of an issue hopefully!

Some travel insurers ask a lot of questions ... others just ask a few questions (about heart disease/high blood pressure/etc) and then just state that the insurance covers you "as long as you are not travelling against your doctor's advice". The latter is easier to deal with when you're pregnant.
Try SAINSBURYS or POST OFFICE (both available Online).

If you're pregnant and camping ... take a potty!!!

I think they usually are ok up to a certain amount of weeks so do make sure you mention it.  If you are having complications and the Doc is not happy they may refuse you cover.

Hi Fiona,
If it's not to late try giving this organisation a look up as my wife and I got a really good quote from them for Europe Travel as well as Worldwide.
They ask all the usual questions so as long as "Doc" says "Go" then you should be OK, but depending how far along you are then as per usual "Take it easy" and definitely NO Hang gliding!!!!
