Was thinking of going abroad with my caravan but have just read this report and another one about slashing tyres at motorway services and then being robbed.  I think i will stay in UK for the time being.

I'll stay at home too. Imagine, getting a Renault Laguna as a replacement car if yours becomes immobilised !!!!!

all the things that happened on that trip could happen anywhere, apart from the cost of the mobile calls . dont let that put you off if captain cook had changed his mind look where we would be today.

What a catalogue of bad fortune.  I often curse the cost for the Caravan Club trip insurance but they get so many accolades for preventing that sort of sorry tale that I'll pay up again and try to look happy.

 

Thanks for sharing that with us.  I've forwarded it to the caravan club for consideration of seeking permission to reproduce in the magazine

You've got to feel for those poor people - What a bunch of total rejects to have to deal with? All these companies are as bad as each other - All they want to do is get into your wallet; just don't try to make a claim. They really are unspeakable
