I like the agricole forecast because it doesn't just say 'rain' it says how much and how many hours of sun - but I am not familiar with the names of the departments of Brittany

The western end one (Brest, Benodet, Tregastel) is 29 Finistere.

The North Coast (Perros-Guirec, Dinard) is 22 Cotes d'Armor

The eastern inland end (Rennes, Mont st Michel) is 35 Ile-et-Vilaine

The southern coast (Vannes, Carnac, Quiberon) is 56 Morbihan

Coming down the coast to La Baule puts you in 44 Loire-Atlantique, Region Pays-de-La-Loire.

I always say that - take no notice - There are many types of France - I like the ones South of the Loire best. In 4 weeks I will be strolling through a field of cacti and lavender to get to the med - but Brittany is great scenery too.

For me the difficult bit is getting to France after that its all holiday wherever you go
