You will be hard pushed to find any difference between the two boats, in fact I dont think there is any! the are booth equally luxurious, you are guaranteed a great time, both ways!

Went on it last year and loved it No prolems whatsoever a great start to your holiday and a great return!  The buffet is brilliant value for money as is the "house red" at Ģ9.99 a bottle  It is certainly a very civilise way of crossing the channel! We are going on Sunday too but we are on the Pride of Rotterdam this time which is a bigger ship and it doesn;t sail until 9.00pm as it is a quicker crossing.

One of them is almost fully crewed by Filipinos the other, English. You can certainly notice the levels of service between the two.

can't say I'd really noticed it was that pronounced a split; I know a lot of P&O staff were made redundant and went to Norfolk Line - and some were from the Hull route

One reason the Rotterdam trip is quicker is that you don't have to spend up to an hour locking out in and out of the Humber

Caroline, cant say I agree with you that the buffet is value for money, I paid 18.50 (Pounds NOT Euros!) per head last week for my wife and I, while we did enjoy the meal, and the wine too! I do not think it value for money.

You can arrive nice and early for the Rotterdam ferry and drive straight on after checking in. get to room, shower, dinner and be sitting playing cards with a brandy by the window as the ship sets sail and the sun sets lovely.

Yes I did which is why we sailed from Hull and then back to Newcastle. Rosyth is very much more expensive especially if you take the caravan. We calculated cost including added diesel and depreciation but Hull was still better and we wee going to North Holland as part of our hols this year. If you get a good deal then go from Rosyth, the sail out of the Forth is well worth it.

That's a lot - we always buy the meal vouchers with the tickets - it's cheaper that way - but then - we pay for the whole thing with Tesco vouchers - so I do tend to regard the whole as a freebie - insofar as I don't use any real money or plastic money at all except maybe the odd Ģ10.

We bought the meal vouhers with the tikets and they are Ģ15 each still say its good for what you get!!
