Just wondering if anyone has stayed here http://www.camping-auborddeloire.com/pagesang/camping-acces2.html

Looks a great little site for just 12 euro per night (car, pitch, 2 adults, 2 kids, no EHU). However, I'm wondering :

is there a lack of shade

are there many midges at night being right on the river

what condition is the municipal pool (allegedly 100m away)

what extent is the July / Aug entertainment

anything else that would affect a 2 week stay

If anyone who has stayed here can shed any light, it'd be much appreciated.

I did the Montsabert campsite fore 2 weeks about 10km from Gennes 2years ago. Very nice campsite, clean and well run. Dutch owners speak English. There were trees on most of the pitches, and they were well hedged and private.  There is a pool on site and good little restaurant.  They had entertainment including a circus one week. There is a castle nearby and peacocks around the campsite. Can't remember the cost but it was a four star campsite and well worth it.
