Depends on which pool - some sites are really strict about enforcing the 'no shorts' rule - others very lax about it, and no one seems to bother. However, one pair of speedos less won't make room for very much wine!!
Put all the clothes you think you'll need on the bed, and then put half of everything back in the cupboards, and you'll probably still end up wearing only a cozzie, pair of shorts, baggy shirt thing, pair of jeans, and a couple of T shirts, plus something for evening, and a warm sweater! Cagoule, change of shoes/sandals, and that's your wardrobe sorted. Washing I can't help with, except to say that smalls (or larges) will dry quickly overnight, so wash them out daily and hang out whilst you're in the pool - they'll be dry when you get back. Have a good time, and don't panic!!!!
