My family and 2 others have booked our ferries for Calais for 20th August for 2 weeks. We were planning to stay at Bonne Anse Plage for 2 weeks and we were told that was fine as long as we rung 2 days prior. It now turns out that the in-laws want to fly over to stay in a static for a week. .. but there is only availibility for the Weds to Mon, when they want to stay Mon - Mon. I have called the campsite and it now turns out they are closing on the Sunday, so we too would need an additional night somewhere else.
I've had a look at the close by Sequoia Parc which is just down the road, and thought about moving halfway through as they have availabilility for the caravans and the static. This also looks nice, but now I'm thinking as we've already stayed in Royan for a week and we have to move, why not see another part of France like the Dordogne or Loire.
What would you do? Do you have any suggestions for good campsites for Caravanners and statics in these areas.
Thanks
