Hi Everyone
We travelled back from Dunkerque on 29 August. We stayed at Chateau Gandspette whilst getting the Max the collie's passport "done" at the local vet
Our favourite tipple is sweet Normandy Cider, eg, Eccuson. We bought out at all the stock at the local Champion, about a mile from the campsite. There are even 5 Euros off a 40 Euro shop vouchers with the tourist literature at the campsite reception. (We forgot to use ours) On a day out we, also, popped into the Champion on the outskirts of Guines. There is a Lidl on the same site and there cider was only 0.99 Euros per bottle. Wine was very cheap at both shops too.
We prefer these smaller shops - less busy and genuine French ambience.
Happy 'vanning
