Just a quickie cos we are busy cleaning the fc and washing clothes but just had to say what a terrific time we had in brittany. For those of you who may remember my post a few weeks ago I was really worried about camping in france and lots of you were so kind with your messages of support and advice.

Well needless to say we had a brill time. Can't wait to go back next year and wish we had booked longer. Journey was long but driving in France was so much easier than we imagined.

Weather was great - nice tan to show off and visited lots of interesting places and lived on mussels. Feel really proud of ourselves now that we have conquered camping abroad and will be dragging our UK camping friends there with us next time.

That is great to hear Stedwell, I knew you'd manage the finest. We have also just returned from our first trip out to France in a camper and like you we had a wonderful time.

We were mostly in the south, Carcassonne, Pyrenees and so on, but we worked our way back via Brittany. Beautiful place.

Glad you had had a great time after worrying so much about going. We are off  a week on Saturday and cant wait, then there is the winter to plan and look forward to next years trip.
