Hi we are going to the south of Ireland this weekend for a week, however we contacted 3 sites to check availability and electric connections and they all sent us back the info along with confirmation of our booking..... the sites are
Hidden Valley Co Wicklow
Roundwood Co Wicklow
Camac Co Dublin
Has anyone been to any of these sites or know anything about them?? their web site all think they are great etc but I have found 1 review on 2 of them and they aren`t great....any personal experience and advice welcomed. PS the other doesn`t appear to have any reviews anywhere that I could find.
Thanks Midge

I haven't been to the other 2, though the reviews for Roundwood would put me off it completely. These other 2 sites are very close together - maybe you could just stay on 1 of them if you turn up and the other isn't up to scratch ?
If we're staying in Wicklow we usually go to River Valley.
tbh if we were going South for a week, we'd just pick the one site - Camac Valley or River Valley or Nore Valley (Bennetsbridge, Kilkenny) or Caseys (Dungarvon, Waterford) are all fine sites and less than 4hrs from the border. The last one obviously not being in a valley . 3 sites in a week seems to me like a lot of packing up and setting up again - but, each to their own !

I have been to Hidden Valley and would not recommend it. An alternative, if you wanted to be on the coast in Wicklow, is Wolohans Silver Strand, if you have beach weather, otherwise there is not a lot to do there I don't think.
