Camping and caravanning is very popular in Sweden, there are loads of sites. You can download brochures in English from the Swedish tourist board site.
You can stop pretty much anywhere and "wild camp", we have seen camper vans in all sorts of places. Sites vary from basic to 5 star and cost from 10 to 30 pounds depending on standard and time of year. We did not book anything, if you arrive around 5pm you should get in anywhere, but maybe not with EHU. The Swedes tend to arrive late. All decent sites have MH dump facilities.
We took the ferry Hull\ Rotterdam then drove across Germany to Sassnitz then ferry to Trelleborg. You can book on line. You need a Scandinavian Camping card to use the sites, it costs 125 swedish kronor this year. You can get it at the first site you use.
You could also drive up through Denmark and over the new bridge, or even take a ferry direct to Denmark.
