In some parts of France they have a sign above the spaces for people with disabilities saying" If you want to take my space- take my disability too! "

--Its the difference between France & the UK--the reason us Brits love it in France---its politeness--a regard for your fellow human being--sadley lacking in this country since the kids of Thatcher's 80s grew up--look at yer local Tescos--the disabled spaces are full & about 10% of cars have disabled badges--I did contact Tescos & suggest they copy LeClercs with the sign mentioned above--but nowt yet--perhaps they dont want to upset their customers

What would be good would be for all the showers to be kitted out for anyone to use, and large enough for able bodied / disabled / with or without carers / parents & kids etc. to all use.

All showers and all loos! I have a Radar key but I'm not in a wheelchair. There always seems to be an attitude the disabled loos are just for wheelchair users and they are not often well adapted for e.g people with bowel disease. And then there's the fear of coming out and being told off because you're not in a wheelchair! So I'd probably be coming out of a disabled area looking apologetic even though I have every right to be there.

Exactly the same happens to my OH, because she is not in a wheelchair but walks with a stick, she gets some awful comments from people when leaving disabled facilities. She also has a radar key.
