can anybody recommend a campsite roughly between calais and quimper, for a one night stopover.

Try out this site, we used it two years ago, arrived about 1 am, pitch was marked with a board with our name on it.

Our friends used it this year and found it great.

Its also just 5 mins from the motorway junction, but still quiet.

We endorse what Sue'n;Roy say re Le Puits. Nice people and pitches would be accessible whenever you arrived. Have a few reservations about M way noise at night but maybe I'm just a light sleeper. It's not excessive. Stopover great, but for longer stays, they need to increase the number of toilets.
