Looking to go to this region of Germany rather than France next summer with my boys - 10 and 12.

Want a campsite with a playpark and a pool.  I've found a few online, but not many reviews anywhere!

Has anyone that's been to this region got any site recommendations?

Yes, Landal Warsberg just above the town of saarburg in the Trier region of Germany.

Landal are a Dutch company who run many campsites across Europe. This site has an indoor pool with small slide and stuff. A medium sized outdoor play area, shop, takaway and cafe. You can reach the small town of Saarburg by cable car, exciting stuff. The site is huge but the facilities are very clean and modern.

We found this site to be brilliant and if you are going out of the main summer holidays you can camping card and get a discount.
