I have booked the Ferry for next June and used Tesco vouchers to offest some of the cost. I checked the price on the Internet before I rang to book and it worked out at £504 for car and caravan on Saturday's both ways. When I rang I was quoted £540. I asked them to re-calculate and told them it said £504 on the web site but they were adamant it was £540. I left it and rang again later (checking Web site which still said £504) and was quoted £489. I of course snatched there hand off and am now booked.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Yes - P&O Tesco deal stops this month - from memory I think you have to book by about 17th November. You can book for next year now though.
There have been several posts on here about this - do a search. I told P&O how disappointed I was (apparently it was their decision, not Tesco's) and was told in an email that they may consider bringing back a similar offer in future, so fingers crossed.
We've booked for Rotterdam in May, and Zeebrugge in July - had a lot of Clubcard vouchers!
If you book through the CC I understand caravans go free all the time. We travelled out on Saturday 7th July and back Sunday 7th October, 2 people in outside cabin + outfit £305
