We have been there for the last 2 summers holidays. Good site, nice people, great views. Didn't use the car much, just buses, trains and feet.

Have a great time.

Just love Switzerland.

Thanks to Easyjet's £54 Brum/Geneve return I'm off  to snowy Zermatt in January.

That site looks lovely. Funny enough I 'm sure that I had looked at their site before.

If I may be so cheeky, could I ask how much you estimate it will be for you.

I've not been to that area, but I have been nearby and I am sure it will be lovely.

Thats not bad at all for peak season.

I hope you have got lots of money saved up as Switzerland can be expensive.  We stayed in France near to the Swiss border, and there was a marked difference between the two.

I bet the scenery is stunning though to make up for it!

Meat is really expensive,as they concentrate on dairy produce.

Most meat is imported hence the higher price,we found everything else not much more expensive than the uk,

Also cheap diesel

It's true the meat is sometimes expensive but we are off to Switzerland this afternoon for Christmas and my sister in law has ordered us a turkey which is only costing about the same as a typical free range one here and you can be sure it won't be a ropey one.

Switzerland is such a wonderful destination at all times of year, particularly beautiful in Autumn we discovered for the first time this October. Definitely worth any extra expense.

Susie

We stayed in Switzerland for the first time this year and we were surprised that things did not seem as expensive as we imagined it would be. What surprised me about the meat, which I agree is a bit more expensive, was the lack of choice. There was lots of pork but other meats there was much less choice than you would get in France or the UK. Funnily enough although we liked being up in the mountains at Frutigen I felt more at home in the French speaking part of the country!

David

We stayed at lazy Rancho this summer- very friendly and helpful - reception staff speak very good English (the lady owner lived in America for part of her Childhood -and Spain so she is fluent in Spanish as well) Spotlessly clean - the toilets would get a last clean at about 10.30pm every night - as well as several cleans through the day. Pool can be chilly (but we did have unusually cold and wet weather for most of our holiday - that would have cooled it down.) Can walk into Interlaken centre from the site, or get a local bus. We didn't try taking the car in - there is very little parking and it is short stay only (often only half an hour, some places up to a couple of hours at most I think)

The pitches were a bit tight if you have a large unit, but they are pretty level.

Hope you have a brilliant time

We lived in Switzerland  recently (Pully, nr Lausanne) for 4 years and it is a beautiful place.  Infact, although desperately missed walkers crips and the seemingly much better array of food stuffs on offer from major uk supermarkets, the fresh produce in Switzerland was by far a better quality (taste) and much was home-grown/reared... hence perhaps in part, the price differential. Eating out can be more pricey, but really not so bad as to deter you.

If you're planning to drive around in the lower-lands, don't be put off by the grey-industrial looking  places off the motorway as they really do mask some fabulous collective and quiet towns and villages. Can't rave enough about this country, oh, except..... it is the most consistently cleanest place I've been.....public toilets to dog-poo-FREE all over, well almost ... .... was in a bank in Lausanne when a stillettoe-heeled lady came chasing in shouting and waiving a little yucky blue bag in the air and directed herself towards another, equally well turned out lady. In brief, the shocked 2nd lady was confronted re not placing the dog-poo bag in the dog-poo bin, and physically, but politley handed over the offending poo-bag. Have  to say, never saw muck on the pavement/parks, but also didn't ever get the feeling I was being policed to this degree either!.

We would move back there in an instant if jobs would allow.

We went to Lazy Rancho last year.

The new toilets and showers were the best we have ever encountered- fabulously clean etc.

The owners were very helpful indeed - lots of local info on arrival etc., and they helped us to level our caravan too!

Approach road is narrow but negotiable.

Have a great time!
