we went September 2006 and we've booked to go again this September.  We purposely went out of season as we hate it when it's really busy.  Our kids loved it.  There is a play area for the younger children next the tennis courts.  There are two pools at the back of the shop/restaurant where we went away from all the kids.  The other all singing and dancing pool was at the other side which our kids spent most of the day in.  From what I remember there is a shallow bit for the little ones.  There is a river where you can ride pedalos and there is also a circus (but we didn't go to that).  There is a shop, pizzeria and restaurant on site just in case you run out of stuff or simply don't want to cook.  We stayed with Eurocamp in a mobile home so can't comment on the toilets or camping pitches.  If there is anything else you'd like to know give me a shout.

Hi, had a one night stay with our van last August.  The setting is lovely, caravans are pitched by a fishing lake near the chateau-beautiful.  We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on site-you can book a table at reception.  The site is very large so we were glad we had bikes. I remember the pool closed at 6pm which I thought was quite early, not that it mattered to us cos it was too cold for swimming!  We didn't like the main area much as there seemed to be gangs of teenagers all over the place and the fast food place was not very clean.  I'm glad we weren't there for very long as it was too "scarborough seafront" for us if you know what i mean - ok for a day trip but your glad to get home again.  There is a brilliant tree walk arrangement, I'm sure somebody was living up there! And lovely walks through the woods nearby.  Our kids aged 7, 9, 11 enjoyed it and would have liked to stay longer as there is loads to entertain them.  Hope this helps

We were the same the first time we went to France and everybody said that driving in France is easy and we should go a bit further afield and they were right!  The major roads are so good and really well signposted so don't worry about that.  If you did choose this site though you would be near St Malo which is great for days out and you could do day trips to the chanel islands which would be great!
