We are going to Portiragnes Plage , Languedoc for 11 nights with Eurocamp from 19/08 cost is only £670 in a tent. Flights are £500 and car hire £250. If you can go towards the end of August the prices really drop. Have stayed in our own folding camper and also in ready erected tent and both were fine. Staying ready erected tent this year and can definitely recommend them

Is it Les Sablons you are going to? We have looked at camping/renting there, you could have booked a mobile home direct with the site for about £675 for the same period.

Yes it is but we wanted the kids clubs which I dont think are offered by the site themselves. Have you been?

I have to admit we have not looked for kids clubs for ours for some years but Le moulinal at Biron used to offer a superb range of activities for kids.

La Motte camping has pre pitched tents available. I don't know if there is a link to it on here in the campsite search, I will have a look. It's British owned and Chris is a nice bloke. Also has a tourer for rent.
