Sorry, I'm relying on a brochure published a couple of years ago, which a friend had given me (same friend as gives me her Camping Cheques).  Just looked on the website and after 23rd August Chateau Des Ormes would normally cost 27 euros for a pitch with two people and electricity. They could actually fit in 10 or even 11 nights before son's girlfriend goes back to school (teacher, not pupil!!) and would only need 9 or 10 Touring Cheques, so around £100 plus £66 for Norfolk Line ferry - not bad!!

Can't help with Domaine de la Forest, I'm sorry - we've never ever done the Vendee or South Brittany, but have done further south at Arcachon and in the Landes.   

 That was great,had a lovely time reading your diary and looking at the pics,only trouble is cant wait now till June when we are going to france on the bikes,only two weeks ,I am always soooo jealous whan we meet people like you at campsites who are travelling for months,just have to wait till retirement but seeing as we will probably be in our 80s by the time we can afford it, probably wont be on the bikes.....thanks for sharing ..

There are some sites which accept Camping Cheques all season - and many which start taking Cheques again in mid-August.  I've done a list elsewhere on this website which lists those sites for anyone who might be interested.
