Hi All

We are going to L'Etang de la Breche this summer and really looking forward to it (all good reviews so far)

However, can anyone tell me, will I need a continental adaptor and/or reverse polarity thingy at this site? I have a normal UK camping lead with a 3 pin plug.

Many thanks
P

Paul

I can't speak for that site but personally think a continental lead and a polarity checker are essential equipment when going to France. Its quite possible that you will get a mix of polarity on the same campsite.

Hi Paul!

When will you be at L'Etang? We will be there 8th-22nd August.

I don't know about the electricity - will ask hubby when he gets out of the shower. I don't think we needed reverse polarity, hubby used the reverse polarity tester thingy he had and said it was fine as it was. I think we had a continental adapter, but will check.

And the site is every bit as good as the reviews - we were there last summer and can't wait to return!!!

Claire

Hubby said the polarity was fine (same as ours) and we used a normal UK EHU.

Thanks for the responses Claire and David.

We are going to L'etang in July. Its our first trip using our own tent (Montana6) so really really looking forward to it.

We were drawn to the site by all the good reviews on here, so if they are all wrong... I will be having words! lol

Thanks again for your responses.

P

We're going end of June and into July. Been there 4 years ago and it's superb. Restaurant is very good aswell.
Visit the Tank Museum in Saumur. Well worth it.
