Hi all, We have recently changed to towing our caravan with a Renault Traffic van and would like to know if there may be any problems camping on sites in France as it is sometimes classed as commercial in this country?

Would appreciate anyones experiences with this.

---I really cant see a problem as you have UK numberlates--these alleged rules the French have about vans towing twin axle caravans are to stop 'travellers' using sites & as you will oviously be UK holiday makers I would have thought you would be ok--French caravanners--genrally not as wealthy as UK caravanners--often have all sorts of old caravans pulled by equally old cars whereas 'travellers' have big new twin axle 'vans pulled by large modern white vans--

A lot of Dutch caravanners tow with vans and they get everywhere so I can't see it being a problem.
