Andy - there are so many sites that it's difficult to actually recommend one! It's much easier if people have a specific request, such as 'river' or 'beach' or with cycle tracks nearby - but difficult to pick one with so little to go on. There are 11,000 campsites in France and I'd guess that more than half of these also have mobile homes to hire.
I'd suggest, first of all, that you have a look at Eurocamp and Canvas Holidays brochures, and see if there's anything you like the look of - then check directly with the site website to see if they hire out their own mobiles, which is often much cheaper than booking through a tour operator such as Eurocamp. The Les Castels website has loads of lovely family sites, which hire out mobiles, as does Sites et Paysages. Have a look, too, at Holiday Cheque.
Your main problem is going to be that it's now getting rather late to be looking for this year - especially as you'll want something in the school holidays. You'll probably find it easier to find something if you're willing to go the last two weeks in August, rather than late July or early August.
Many French sites allow animals on the campsite, so I would think you'll find somewhere which also allows dogs in the mobile homes.
Sorry to sound so unhelpful - but it's really difficult to just pick one out of the many hundreds of lovely sites in Europe!
