Hi anyone got advice on where to overnight near eurotunnel terminal folkstone , in June with a Car + Caravan. Never used the channel tunnel before, so not sure if there is somewhere to park at the terminal or not.

Can't use a site as we are scheduled to depart at 07:00 for coquelles.

Regards

There are some sites that have 'Ferry' piches for people arriving late or leaving early.

I'm sure someone will tell you about others, but we use the Caravan club site at Densole (Black Horse Farm, Folkestone) when we use Eurotunnel, we are there the end of May (07:50 train)

hi, we're going over to france on 26/8 via the tunnel and we're staying in a premier travel inn. only ten mins from the terminal!  usually stay at black horse farm but they dont seem to like anything but caravans, we had to pay full price to camp on a grass verge on the site last year when had pre booked a pitch with electric!! plus we have a trailer tent this year so it takes longer to pitch and pack up! so looking forward to a comfy night before our hols start! hope you find somewhere.

regards

nickx

Your best bet might be to stop at Maidstone services on the M20 about 30mins from the tunnel--they have a caravan parking area with about 12 spaces--you have to pay-but less than a campsite I think----theres nowhere to park at the tunnel terminal--

We stayed a Little Satmar last year, not far to go to the tunnel.

Also the Premier Inn is good value.
