Luxury Cabin. We always treat ourselves to a luxury cabin. They used to be just 2 single beds(proper beds not bunk beds) but some boats do 3 or 4 berth. We usually take a 2 berth luxury cabin and either share beds with our 2 boys or use the sofa or the floor. The reason - they are near the top deck so everything is too hand. They tend to be in quite areas. They are HUGE. You have proper beds, a sofa, TV with DVD, drinks bar (complimentary) and breakfast in the morning - so no queuing. The waiter just knocks on the door and brings in your coffe/tea/ hot chocolate and croissants. The bathrooms are also HUGE. On a long ferry crossing a cabin is a must must must!! The kids can watch DVDs (free from reception) we have a free drink and generally all relax.
