We are due to go to France next Friday travelling with Norfolkline. (Dead excited!!) We have just got through a passport renewal crisis - they came today.  However since booking we have bought a new car.  Has anyone else been in this situation.  I remember reading a post about this last year and I'm sure the general consensus was it isn't a problem.  As I'm a natural born worrier I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.

We have just brought a new car, phoned and told Caravan club about the change of vehicle and they said it wont make any difference on the ferry, but i do suppose it does depend on length and height of your new car, i am sure someone else will put you right.

We went with Norfolkline last year and changed our car after booking. I phoned them and they changed the vehicle details - no extra charge.

As stated, it's not a problem unless you are going from a mini to an Audi Q7 or a Hummer

As long as your car size is about the same the ferry company will not prevent you boarding.

Perhaps its best just to ring them and provide the new vehcile details
