We booked with camping cheque months ago, and had to phone them to ask where our tickets and vouchers were.
" We havent done anything about them yet" was the reply."We're lelaving in 10 days" I said. "We'll try to get them out to you this week"
This week came and went...no tickets, so I called back, and they still had'nt actioned the order yet...
Making sure I stayed calm,I explained we were not going directly to the ferry,but spending time with family first.
" ok we'll send the out today by special delivery, just make sure someone is in to sign for them"
Next day [off work] I watched as the postman strolled past our door!!!!!! Back on the phone, and yes we have sent them and heres the tracking number.....
Post Office web site...and enter the number...its in our system. OK but why isnt it in my hands. Phone customer services....the operator checked the number, yes its delayed between Tunbridge and Glasgow, but he doesnt know where!!!
Is there some kind of conspiracy going on here?
Next day [Saturday off work] the guy knocks on the door with our tickets. Horray!!!
So at long last we can relax, and look forward to this friday....
I wonder what else we'll have to face?
