We went to Camping Du Letty for a number of years when our kids were young- they always wanted to go back there and we were easily persuaded. It's a fabulous site and leaves us with many happy memories.

A brilliant location, we stayed at Quimper (which is a great place to visit) and we will go back one day, for sure.

The tidal lagoon is a really great place, excellent for kids, good for a bit of fun in a kayak, loos and a car park!

Just come back from Benodet myself and loved the area - stayed at Du Polulquer which is on the road into Benodet from Du Letty.

One word of warning - be very careful that you only use inflatables when the tide is coming in.

There is a horrendous current by the entrance to the lagoon when the tide is going out.

I saw a RIB with a 30HP engine having problems making headway against the current.

BTW for those of you have been to the area before - the old Champion store in Benodet is now a Carrefour and seems quite expensive - use the Super U on the way to Pont L'Abbe if you have the choice.
