Don't know if I should post this, but some years ago we had a noisy set near to us -  and at about 1.00 am they were still noisy, despite us asking for their music to be turned down several times.  Eventually OH went out and removed their hook-up - and that stopped the music immediately.  I think they were all so drunk that no-one bothered to look to see what had suddenly turned the electricity off, and they all went home to bed.  We put the hook-up back in next morning, and no-one was any the wiser, but we all got some sleep!!

(If you do it, don't mention that I suggested it if you get found out!!!).

We've just come back - and the only noise after about 10.00 pm on any site was the nightingales overhead - and the golden orioles awake at about 3.30 am!!!!

The only time it happened to us was a small site near Cerne Abbas. Despite seveal attempts at asking them to tone it down the music went on until 3am. Now my kids, god bless them were 4 and 3 at the time and could slept right through this mini Knebworth so were well rested when I set thier toys up right next door to the offending static.................at 7am.

Then the static started to complain about the noise.

So they got 3 or 4 hours sleep and were only too happy to be tucked up in bed by 11pm that night.

If the noisy ones are in a tent next to you, get up early and start the car and let it run next to the tent!!! Should help with their hangovers!!!
