Camping Jungfrau is a good quality site with everythink you need in a wonderful location. You dont say what youre interests are but if you like hiking theres fantastic walks on youre doorstep.
Theres also the cable car to the summit of the schilhorn or the train to Wengen/Klein schedgg and Jungfraujoch. Both are a bit of a tourist trap but worth it in good weather.Dont waste youre money if the clouds down.
Trummelbach falls are preatty good. You catch a lift inside the mountain and then walk past a series of waterfalls inside the mountain.
The only real way to see the area is by foot and some of the great walks in the area are as follows.
1) Wilderswill train to scynige platte and walk the Faulhornweg to first or if a strong walker to Gross schedgg.I walk and climb in the alps every year for the last 20 yrs and this is in my top 10 walks.
2)Train to Klein schedgg and walk the Eiger trail to Alpiglen, good path easy downhill route that cuts across the awesome north face of the Eiger.
3)Walking ascent of the schilhorn via the rotstock hut, airey ridges and big drop offs dictate a high level of experience but it is an awesome walk/scramble.
4)walk to oberhornsee,
If you need anymore ideas for walks let me know.

Hi everyone, Just booked to go to this campsite. can anyone reccomend it and what around the site to do. Booked it on a friends reccomendation but not 100% convinced about it though.
Which camping Jungfrau is it?
We stayed at Camping Lazy Rancho, Unterseen, Interlaken, for 10 nights from 17 June, on the way to the busstop there is a campsite called Jungfrau. It was never full, far from it, yet Lazy Rancho was very nearly full. People told us that last year the owners had let a load of gypsies on there, that's why a lot of people were put off staying there. Also, that the owners are running the site down, for what reason was unknown. It looked a nice site, with loads of space, but I don't know what the toiletblock/other facilities are like.
There is certainly loads of walking as has been said. We got a 6-day Jungfraupass. That entitles you to go on any train/cable car in the Jungfrau-region. The cost at first glance is a lot, at 195 Swiss Francs, about £100 per person, but you certainly get that back after the first 2 or 3 days, as the cost of travel there would otherwise probably be prohibitive. But having travelled all that way, you then don't want to miss out on all that. We travelled everywhere you could, and you can walk between stations, as has also been said. The scenery is truly breath-taking, literally as well, as you are often more than 700 feet up. There was snow on all the mountains, yet we had really good weather (after a rainy start).
One trip which for us was the highlight, was up to the Jungfraujoch. That costs an additional 104 Swiss Francs, but if you have the 6-day pass, you get 50% reduction. That certainly is like nothing I'd ever seen, you are at over 13000 feet up, there was all the snow there, the sun was shining and the views fantastic.
Go for it, you won't regret it, I'm sure you will have a great time!

Ali,
Sorry to hear that you also face the awful decision with one of your Scotties. It is never easy, but you have to love to live, and death is part of life.
House is great. Hoping for a realignment of work-life priorities that will allow us to spend three months this winter in Niederau.
