I think we have always used our normal 3 pin but we do carry a 2 pin convertor just in case. We are using a couple of municipal sites this year for the first time as stop over sites so don't know what we will find there. Also reverse polarity is sometimes an issue so its always better to take a tester to use before plugging in. Another thing to take is a universal plug as sinks don't always have plugs in them as we do.

Its only 2 weeks on Friday before we are off again!! Can't wait.

Its not an easy question to answer. You are correct that the CEE17 (blue plug) is the European standard but as far as I know it is not compulsory to change over to them. If you know the sites you are using someone might be able to help you. Its possible that you will find the 2 pin variety on older sites. As Lassie suggested take a 2 pin converter with you, they only cost about a fiver from a camping accessory shop.
