Hi All,

We are considering taking the camper van to Southern Spain mid January/February,

now that we are semi retired.

Considering returning leisurely through France in March.

Can anybody pass on tips etc re suitable low price options for siteing the camper during our projected stay? We do not know the area, so have no idea what to expect.

We have no preferences re area, although rural/coastal areas prefered and warmish climate desirable.

Do any sites offer discounts for wrinklies on a longer stay etc?

Thanks in advance,

David.

Party would consist of wife, self and Border Collie

I wanted to get rid of your blue face. There are lots of sites that give discount if you stay 30 days and if you are retired you can get a 10% discount card for Portugal from http://www.orbiter.com

It will not be too easy to have a leisurely drive through France as there are not many sites open and the weather can be worse than in the UK.

Have a look at my website where there is a list of sites that we have stayed on during the winter.

Hello Air Pikey,

Thank you for your interesting reply to my post.

I have had a quick look at your excellent web pages and will study them further later.

We are confirmed campervanners, but have concentrated on UK, usually in Scotland.

Warmer climes are beckoning for the winter, if Her Indoors can be persuaded, otherwise it`ll be Meghan (the Border Collie) and me.
