 WHATS THE BEST WAY TO TAKE CASH ABROAD TO HOLLAND , WHAT ARE THESE PRE LOADED DEBIT CARDS LIKE, THAT YOU CAN GET FROM THOMAS COOK, ARE THEY ANY GOOD.????

There are many ways from real cash to good old fashioned travellers cheques. The choice is yours. I've looked into the pre loaded debit cards - be prepared, it'll cost you about £2.50 every time you make a cash withdrawal. If you don't mind paying then that's fine, I think it's a bit much but as they say you don't get anything for nothing.

I'm in the process of opening an account with Nationwide - no charges. Lots of people I know speak highly of it.

Yes, get a Nationwide Flexaccount with a card to use in the ATMs....no charges.

Also a Natiowide credit card.

I go to work in Holland sometimes, no problem with cards, cash etc their english is also better than ours!! the place is lovely some of the old style villages are really nice with cobbledy streets and leaning houses.

Just don't go poking the dams!!!!!
