What documents do you need to take a 4 meter inflatable boat with outboard to france?

Have receipts for boat & motor and husband has and RYA International certificate

Just to bring this back to the top so you may get more specific answers.

We have an inflatable canoe - and find France much more river friendly than here.  We can launch our canoe on any number of rivers with no permit, or anything else being required.  Not sure how you go on with an outboard, though.

I would think you ought to, with an outboard.  Our canoe is covered by one of our policies, so that if we injured anyone or anything we wouldn't be personally liable for damages caused - OH arranges it, so I'm not sure who it's with.
