Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The best place to stop if not on a campsite is the Aire des Deux Caps, on the motorway around 20-30 kms outside of Calais. They have special areas set aside for 'vanners etc. It's also patrolled by security guards throughout the night.
The Aire Baiye de Somme, about 1 1/2 hous drive south on the A28 is also a god place to get your head down, seperate area for caravans, patrolled at night

Hi Mr Brummie. Agree with the previous posters re La Baie de Somme and Aire des 2 Caps, BUT both are on the A16 not A28,(A16 south of Calais then onto A28)
Sure, can you let me have your email address again. Thanks. There are only a couple which show anything of the site - the remainder are of the ducks and their ducklings, but the two I have do show how nice the areas are.
We stayed on Aire Baiye de Somme on the 28th of June. I think this must be one /if not the best and safest Aire in France. This was the second year that we have stopped there nad will go there anytime we pass that way.
