Ok So we would like to go to this area next year. I have seen La Rive and one or two other sites but can any one suggest alternatives. We have a 15 year old lad and a 12 year old girl so some entertainment is needed.

Any thoughts?

Hi I went to Lake Biscarosse in June and was bitterly dispapointed with La Reserve (a Haven site) It has been taken over by static caravans) I have been visiting that area for years. What  I did discover is that just a bit futher along the lake there is a Municipal site that didn't look too bad and several small private ones which represent much better value for money and true camping. A fab area though! Maybe La Reserve with a 15 year old wouldn't be too bad though as there are discos/entertainment etc

Thanks

I was hoping to be near the lakes to make use of both the boarding in the sea and may be wind surfing etc on the lake.

But thanks any way.

Have just returned from 21 days at La Rive had a fabulous time great weather especially this last week, La Rive should meet your needs lots for the children to do. Although a big site if you choose your pitch carefully you can be away from the crowd. Lake beach great and surfing beaches within easy access, another one to look at is camping Bimbo.
