We have just returned from France, and used the Tunnel on Sunday 14th.   We may have been lucky as we were expecting to be transferred to a ferry, but we actually crossed on the tunnel.  We arrived at 17.00 hrs and asked what the situation was and was told they had a train running at 18.07 which had spaces.   It took a little longer than usual to cross, about 50 mins compared to 35 which it usually is.   So whether it was luck or perhaps the situation is not as bad as we think I dont know, but for us it was no problem.

Thought you may be interested in this quote from our local Kentish newspaper

We certainly did - even though I have posted that mail from our local paper. as said previously perhaps we were lucky.  Hope you are too
