e-mail address campbel at wanadoo.fr
The site is used by eurocamp and keycamp. WE booked with Eurocamp independent as it was our first time in France, but before we left I got the tarif for next summer if you want it.
Dosent seem to have a website of its own.

Thanks for that, I have looked at the eurocamp website, and it says they have drainage on some pitches, which is what we would like. What were the pitch sizes like.

Sorry Jeff & Sharon I've just reread your earlier post about the pitch size!

We had a pitch with our own water tap, which we connected directly to, also the drainage seemed to be at the tap, at least that is what we used. Thought it was good value for money.
Next summer the tarif for the pitch will be 28Euro, each person over 5years 6Euro, then you will have to add on the tourist tax.
Sites without drainage, but with electric etc 24Euro.
They dont take bookings direct with the site until January.
As long as you do not need entertainment for teenagers it is great, this is why we picked it and it worked out well.

Thanks it sounds just what we are looking for. I have e-mailed the site to see if they can send a brochure.

Ok if you need any more info let me know.
Its good to hear someone else mentioning La Trance at last.
I was begining to think we were the only ones on this website that had ever stayed there and it is such a super place.
We did a week at the Nova Fun wind surf school, which was excellent.

Hello I stayed at Bel this year and loved it. Last year we were at Du Jard, also in Tranche sur Mer but much further from the centre of town. Bel is the quietest site we have ever stayed in at night though we had a couple of disturbed ights from people in Keycamp chalets. It also has brilliant entertainment for children under 12 ish. Much older than that and it is a bit limiting but still a lovely campsite. We booked direct with no problem. We had a good size pitch though there are a few small ones on site.

Hi Tim.
Just wondering what restaurants you tried in the town?
We only ate out twice, both times at Le Phare West which we thought was great.
Problem for us was our kids wanting back in time for the Dvd at night, even though they had seen everyone of them before. They weren't impressed with the singers, but liked the magician and the highlight of the week had to be the clown.
Loved the bread van in the morning, even if it was a bit more expensive than super U, but it was the novelty factor that made it.

Hi Jeff and Sharon
I must admit we did not go out to any restaurants this year, mainly because our kids just wanted to stay around the campsite in the evening and as you said, watch the dvds and the clown, but also because the exchange rate made eating out rather expensive this year. We tended to just buy stuff from the Super U next door and eat in. We also had several evening picnics on the beach which was lovely because it is not too far

In terms of walking to a village - then it has to be Le Foret. Le Garangeoire is further and bigger and busier. Le Pin Parasol is lovely but too far from a village to walk - or stagger!

Try Les Ecuriels in Jard sur Mer easy walk into town and down to the harbour can walk to the beach but a nicer one is only a few mins drive away. Jard has everything you need, a good selection of shops, restaurants and a good market.
