We went this summer! We thought it was a great little sight, it is mainly French but with enough English for the children to make friends. I've posted a review, so take a look.
I forgot to mention the swimming pools though!There are 2 largish pools, one with a water slide, and a toddlers pool. All very clean. There are the usual signs up forbidding swim shorts, but nobody seemed to police this rule.
Also, buy the Angela Bird book on The Vendee, we had some great days out from reading it.
