You cant get Calor gas, its UK only, If you are staying for a long period you will have to buy Spanish bottles like Repsol, the alternative is to get some refillable Gaslow bottles but they are expensive & there has been issues about refilling them at service stations with automotive lpg. As for electric hookup the blue/white plug should be ok but get a French adaptor from your local caravan shop just in case as the domestic plugs are the same for France & Spain

How long are you going for? we went for 11 weeks and only took 2 6 kg propane bottles and i aquired 1 camping gaz (empty from the local recycling centre and exchanged it in Spain for 10 euro.to run the bbq.

We used the electric rings and the microwave and ended coming home with 1/2 a bottle of propane left.If you want a repsol butane the cost is approx 40 euro without a bottle to exchange.

We did 4 different Camp sites in Norther Spain 3 years ago (so could be different now) ALL the sites used the 2 pin sockets, so I would definitely get an adaptor. Can't help on the gas, we were only there for 3 weeks.

Spain is a bit of a mix.  We found some sites still use the European 2 pin sockets, others the newer blue sockets like at home.  I would take an adapter, they are only a couple of quid.  I also found the supply to be wired up with varying degrees of dangerous incompetence.  No weatherproofing on the supply boxes, & brokenn locks leaving exposed live parts seemed standard.  Polarity was often reversed.  This is no problem if there is double pole switching & circuit breakers, but for UK wiring where we only have breakers or fuses on the live, it is possible to have an earth fault, trip your breaker & still have the "neutral" live.  Take a mains tester & a doctored short length of mains cable with a plug on one end & a socket on the other with the live & neutral reversed.  Make sure you label this!  Another fairly common problem seemed to be no earth available.  If that is the case, earthed appliances may not blow a fuse in the event of a fault, but give an electric shock anyway.  Site ownere did not seem at all bothered by this!

We still had a fab time & will go back.

Steve.
