We've been several times to Bois du Bardelet - and I agree with all the above comments but would add that it's got a restaurant with good views over the lake, and there are plenty of organised activities for youngsters - though in June it won't be a noisy site - in fact may be quite quiet. There are some very spacious pitches at one end of the site - and there's an indoor 'play-pool' for the little ones. Twice we've tried the take-away - and aren't willing to risk a third but that's the only downside.
Supermarkets in Gien, with plenty going on and lots of riverside restaurants. The site accepts Camping Cheques, so possibly a cheaper price than normal site tariff?
We've only seen Peyrelade from the road and the river - it's in a fairly steep bit of the Tarn valley - and may suffer from short hours of sunshine (but that's only speculation) - it's nicely situated, with a large river beach.
