I've posted a review from last summer. Benodet is a nice seaside resort (rained a lot while we were there though!) - the ice cream shop on the front near the casino is fab!! The boat trip along the Odet was nice too.
The pools at LPSG are good - there is a retractable roof which is good if you get bad weather - great for little kids, with slides and stuff, but not much good for bigger kids or adults as it just isn't deep enough anywhere. I love a pool on my hols, but I didn't even bother going in.
The toilets and showers (main block) are excellent, but the cafe/bar area leaves quite a lot to be desired - atmosphere = zilch - but again, if you've got small kids there is regular entertainment for them in the evenings.
The site itself is dominated by the statics & ready-erected tents - but perhaps I got that impression because I was staying in a static (never again!), the 'own unit' areas may have been nicer.
If safety and security is your thing, the owners insist on tagging everyone with a plastic wristband on arrival - IMHO a total waste of time and an irritating annoyance.
Du Letty, by contrast, with its pretty little hedged off seafront pitches, quaint little bar area and sheltered beach, seemed a little peaceful paradise. If I was going back to the area, thats where I'd go!
