Hi, I have booked the ferries for September, and OH is moaning that it won,t be warm enough.We are going to Santander, throught the Pyrannes, and over to the Med.I think that it should be warm without the burning heat, any ideas how warm it could be?

We've been in southern France, in 2007, when it was 38 degrees in September - so quite hot.  This is not usual, but I would expect it to be comfortable still.  We've also been to Perpignan in November (Armistice Day) when it was hot enough to sunbathe on the beach at Collioure, and other people were swimming in the sea!!!

It should be lovely - enjoy it!!!

               There are some superb weather web-sites that give you all the info, going back years how many sun hours, max/min temps etc for your intended location, I am sure someone will be along with the links shortly, my brother was down the med in Sept last year, Frejus and said it was hot during the day, although not as searing as in July, but defo ok for swimming in the sea etc. and did not see any rain either.

Was in Argeles last week of September '08 and weather was lovely, mid 20's at least, evenings can get cool though, so pack a sweater
