Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We spent two weeks there last july/august (site in the Vendee just up from St Julien de Landes). Pitches huge.very Dutch site ,did not really feel like being in France everyone was Dutch. one of the best sites we have stayed on but prefer a mix of nationalities with some french.
It will be deserted from about 25th August on, and they start to close the toilet blocks as the fields empty so I would check with them that the nearest toilet blocks will remain in use until you leave. I assume as you are arriving as it empties they will put you in one of the fields they intend to keep open.
We were in La Pointe and by 28th August I think we were the last people in it. They said it would be closing when we left.

We shall definitely see you there Sproz. I've lost our pitch number at the moment but am pretty sure we're in that top corner of the volley field too!!
You can laugh at us while we unexpertly try and pitch our tent!!
We went last year too - first two weeks of school holidays there were lots of teenagers there but from memory I think virtually all of them were dutch. We loved the site but yes it is very dutch
