Hi Mark-del
We stayed at la croix du vieux pont last year, this is the link to the web site. http://www.la-croix-du-vieux-pont.com/uk/accueil.php
We found it to be a great site for both euro disney and paris, the site has a coach trip to both.
Its also a site you could stay at for one or two weeks.

For anyone staying at Les Courtilles de Lido - it's a Touring Cheque site, which last year accepted them all season - from 22nd March until 20th September - so a pitch for two people, car and caravan (or tent), plus electric hook-up, and awning would have cost £11.90 per night! For children under 10 there is a supplement of 3 euros each, and over 10s are 4 euros each. This is great value for a site near Paris - but check out the details with Touring Cheque themselves as the website has not yet been updated for 2009.
We've stayed there, some years ago, and found it a nice site with lovely level grass pitches, and clean facilities. It's near Moiret sur Loing which is a nice little town on the river, with some good restaurants - and you're near enough to Paris for the sites, as well as near the Chateau and Forests of Fontainbleau. It's really in one of the most scenic areas around Paris and yet still near enough to be accessible.

Hi
we stayed at this site which i call Berny Rivierie in August 2006, 2 families with 3 chidren (then aged 3,5 and 7) we chose this site for our first trip to France because it wasn't too far from Calais and it's relatively close proximity to Disneyland Paris.
Basically a lovely site but we had horrendous weather in August which spolit the holiday really so if you have brill weather it will make the holiday, we camped for 10 nights on a large grassy park area near a small river with ducks waddling everywhere, the kids loved that.
we drove to Disneyland which was about 80 mins away (easy to find and thankfully the sun shone that day so it was great!)
nice bar and restaurant, play area, lake facilities
not much to see or do in the surrounding area (apart from Disney) so maybe better for a stop over site
have a great time if you choose this one and pray for sunny weather (it rained for about 7 nights out of 10 for us) even broke our gazebo on the second night from the amounr of rain

I stayed here last year Camping Les Etangs Fleuris, it was a really nice site, had a lovely pool, loungers all around & it was a freeform pool with is going for 1cm to 1.5m, so suitale for all ages & swimming abilities. It was very clean, they sold bread etc on site & there was a small village about 5 minutes away which sold everything. Disney was about 20 minutes away, & val de europe was about 15 minutes away, from here you can catch the train to paris & parking is free. There was a playground, big trampoline, mini golf, football pitch/ sports field, table tennis, fishing lake, but it isn't a massive site. I went with a couple of friends to this site, but there was a lot of kids on site.
I stayed at 4 vents the year before, with my sister & a 5 year old. I found even thought there was most of the pitches were taken it was very isolated as the hedges were really high. There was a playground, table tennis, & a volleyball court. There was also a small van selling bread each morning & a snack wagon each evening. Both me & my sister felt the pool was unsuitable for younger children, it was 1.5m deep & freezing cold even in august, there was no loungers so you couldn't have a day at the site around the pool. The showers were automatic, & the only way to get a towel in dry was to throw it over the fence. We also found the showers to be a bit cold no matter what time of day we took a shower & the block was often dirty.
If i went back to one of the sites I'd visit Camping Les Etangs Fleuris, it had a much nicer atmosphere, it was friendly & inviting. The pool was lovely, there was quite a bit to on site but it was all in one place so it was relaxed as well as all the busy stuff was in one place. It was cleaner, the wash block was older but was cleaned more often.
