Hi, I'm looking to stop over for 3 nights somewhere along the Belgium coast .... I'm going from Northern France to Holland .... I still have not yet booked a site .....so I was wondering if anyone got any recommendations?

Here is my earlier thread (Thanks Angie) http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=7&TopicID=172750&get=last#2638111

Dunno if nobodies answered because they cant think of a good site on the Belgium coast. But we stayed at  http://www.dehoogtecadzand.nl/nl/  nr the coast in Zeeland province, this is the bit of Holland that appears to be in Belgium & a definite improvement imho.

We've stayed in Jabbeke, Camping Klein Strand, a few times before now. From Northern France to Holland you go on the motorway via Dunkerque into Belgium, then on via Brugge which is not far from Jabbeke. It is not far from the motorway at all, so you do get a bit of noise from it, but for an overnighter it doesn't matter.
The site is part of the ACSI scheme, and is 15 Euros per night, but only during the periods stated on the relevant page. If you don't know anything about the ACSI discount schem, you can find details of the site and the ACSI scheme itself HERE

Sorry, didn't read that you wanted to be near the coast, doh!! Can't help with that, but if you change your mind, Brugge is very nice for a day visit from Camping Klein Strand, and you re actually not that far from the coast, but of course not as near as you would be on a beachside site. But the site is on its own lake with its own sandy beach.
Anyway, perhaps useful info for another time or somebody else??

Check  out www.campingdeheide.be  We have stayed there quite a few times. Excellent little site for catching the zebrugge - hull ferry and it is only five minutes drive into De Hann

I like camping Nieuwpoort near Ostend.Geared towards ankle bitters but is still to be recomended for people sans enfant.

Good sized pitches many with hedges, good facilities including restaurant, swimming pools and slide.Near the motorway for easy access.

We passed CAMPING DALLAS in Blankenberge a few times over the weekend it looked very popular. It is at most a 3 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk into town. If you are self contained just do what we saw plenty of others doing and stop on the road right by the beach.

Some more sites that might be suitable.
