Hi
We stayed at Mouettes Cendree, Jard sur Mere (http://www.les-campings.com/mouettecendree/index.html) this summer. This wasn't the noisiest site in the world having around 100 pitches and a some statics. There isn't a club house on site or shop for that matter, but there is a pool. You can order bread etc from the site office and the Super-U is only just down the road. It has just changed hands (apparently for the 3rd time in five years), but we met people that returned there year after year. Indeed the new owners seem very keen indeed and organised little receptions and barbecues etc to try and encourage a cordial atmosphere.
Why wouldn't I stay there again? I can't really think of a reason why I wouldn't and indeed I probably would go there again if I was to return to that part of the Vendee. The toilet block was clean if a little dated (maybe the new owners will update them). The new arrivals area is a little dodgey if you arrive like we did mob handed (there were two caravans). There is only room for one van at a time! Apart from the slightly tired feel of the pitch which is not unusual for France the site was very good.
Hope this is of use
Tim
