Hi,
Our caravan is over 6.5m shipping lenght and we found the pitch to be adequate. There seems to be some bigger than others. People across from us had their caravan turned sideways on the pitch and still had room to put their inflatable boat(which was quite big) at the side. We dont have any experience of other sites in France so cant compare them.
We did not notice any noise at night, in fact were very surprised at how quiet it was after 10pm. Only one night there was a concert in the town and it went on quite late. You could hear the noise, in the awning, but it couldnt be heard inside the van.
We have two children a boy, 13 and a girl 11. They both loved the site. The entertainment is very low key at night, but they still enjoyed it. Our daughter made friends easily, but our son normaly dosent bother.
We loved the fact that the town and beach were walkable, also there is a large Super U very close, we never took the car to it. Our car was only moved three times while we were there.
We are leaving on 21st August so we will overlap. It would be nice to meet up, sounds like our interests are the same!!!!!!!!!
You will not have a problem recognising our car it will have a N. Ireland registration, we were the only one there last time.

The beach is divided into two by a road leading to a pier.
To the right of the pier is the most popular beach. The waves are usually good, there were a couple of calm days.
The beach to the left of the pier is less busy. There is a couple of sailing/windsurfing schools, we used one of them for the kids to learn windsurfing, they had a great time.
The pool tends to be on the cool side, but that didnt seem to deter many people. There are bench type seats, some with backs, all around the pool, also permanent sunshades. I usually took a folding chair with me to the pool, a trick I learned from the campsites in England. Got fed up not getting a lounger/seat, due to families allowing their kids to put towels etc on them and then never being out of the pool long enough to sit on them. This totally does my head, in as I think it is such bad manners.
