I wondered if anyone had visited France over the last few weeks and could let me know the cost per litre for Diesel?

I paid €1.04 on the Auto Route and €0.85 in the Supermarket over Easter. Figure on parity :(

Bit better than that, Nationwide charged my atm card £89 for 100€ drawn out t'other day.

Diesel was 0.91.4€ at the Dunkerque Auchan on Monday so about 80p/litre, bit better than here.

& as our quantitive easing appears to be doing the job while the European Cental Bank dithers the £/€ is becoming more favourable just in time for summer hols.

We paid €1.08 today on the A26 Autoroute at a Shell station.
